Who We Are

Jordan Sage Consulting provides forward pricing rate proposal (FPRP) support to small government subcontractors navigating prime contractor and government rate review.

Many small firms are asked to submit or defend forward pricing rates without having formal pricing infrastructure in place. Jordan Sage Consulting was created to help close that gap by delivering practical, well-documented rate models that align with how pricing teams and analysts actually review proposals.

The focus is not theory or templates—it is clear structure, documented assumptions, and rate logic that can be explained and defended.

Our Approach

Our work is grounded in real-world govcon expectations:

  • Forward pricing rate models that reflect how small businesses actually operate

  • Labor and indirect rate structures that are traceable and explainable

  • Documentation that supports follow-up questions and rate discussions

  • Scopes sized appropriately for small subcontractors

Engagements are advisory and analytical in nature. We do not certify rates, approve proposals, or provide legal or accounting opinions.

Who We Work With

Jordan Sage Consulting works primarily with:

  • Small government subcontractors

  • Early-stage and growing govcon firms

  • Companies preparing for prime contractor pricing review

  • Firms responding to forward pricing data requests

Clients typically engage us when they need to explain how proposed rates were developed and defend those rates to a prime, a government analyst, or both.
